This year, I have made several trips into Washington, DC to see the sights. I have been to the Air and Space Museum, the National Zoo, to the top of the Washington Monument, and more. Here are a few photos I have taken on my trips.

Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in DC.

Apollo Lunar Module

The Apollo lunar module, one of 12 built for Project Apollo. It was built to be used in low Earth orbit to test the techniques of separation, rendezvous, and docking with the command and service module.

Smithsonian Institution Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden

The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden has an outdoor plaza with several pieces of art on display.

Washington Monument

It is nearly impossible to go into Washington, DC without seeing the Washington Monument. This spring, I had the chance to go to the top of the Washington Monument and get a bird's eye view of DC.

This spring I made my second trip to the National Zoo. This was my first chance to see the two newest Giant Pandas - Tian Tian and Mei Xiang.
